This brand new 95,500 SF building houses modern-day administrative client spaces and offices for the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS), including about 200 staff members. It features a welcoming lobby that lets in lots of natural light and large conference rooms. Additionally, there are several private safe spaces for families to meet and a calming color palette throughout. Pence Kelly scope of work included the foundations, weir walls, and the monument sign at the entrance to the campus. The weir walls at the exterior swale of the building included notches to allow water to move through so there wouldn't be any flooding during the rainy season.
